Feedback on The New Brunswick Saga

Wednesday, August 5th, 2009

Hey guys, so now we’re about halfway through the New Brunswick Saga. Yes, newbrunsmelthalfway through! Now that we’re at this spot, I’d like to get some feedback from you, the reader. What do you think of my first continuing storyline, the New Brunswick Saga? Love it? Hate it? Mildly have no opinion on it either way? Let me know in this poll, or write feedback in the comments (or both!). I’d love to hear your thoughts on this story type setting versus my old gag-a-day format. Vote away!

What do you think of the New Brunswick Saga?

Interviewed by 515 Comics

Friday, August 7th, 2009

Thom of 515 Comics interviewed me! Wow, I was really nervous about my first interview, but Thom was really awesome and seemed to know his stuff. We talked about the comic, the current saga, my life (which is uhh… the comic :P ), my inspiration and the new Glass Urchin book that’ll be coming out soon. You can check out the interview here! Also, be sure to check out all his other interviews here, he’s interviewed Bree and Foley of the NERD crew as well! Thanks Thom!

Since it’s now (kind of) a month away, I thought I’d like to let you all know I’ll be attending Small Press Expo in Bethesda, Maryland on September 26 and 27th. It’s going to be my first planned out con (ie one I didn’t learn about 2 weeks ahead of time)!

milkcoverI’ll have pins, card sets, and art for sale (and maybe a new non-related to The GU mini too, if I have time), but the big news is that my first book will be out! That’s right, The Glass Urchin 1: Milkshakes & Highways compiles the first 139 comics, including the complete New Brunswick Saga! That’s right, read it all before it’s out! I’m working on the pricing for everything now, but I should have plenty at my table at a variety of price ranges.

As usual I will be sharing my tablery with fellow NERD, Bree. A couple of my webcomicking friends will be at SPX too, like Jamie of Sudden Valley and Darren of Hello With Cheese. And of course there will be tons of other talented people. Hope to see you there!
