Yay! I love “Sherlock” as well. Steven Moffatt has been my hero ever since “Coupling,” and he has done some absolutely brilliant things for “Doctor Who.” And seriously, who doesn’t love John Cleese?!

According to the wikiwebs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sherlock_%28TV_series%29) production will start some time in 2013. So… not until 2014, then? And British television doesn’t usually see big budgets… the Beeb is funded (a lot) by the taxpayer (through TV licences) and big budget productions that flop are just the sort of thing that newspapers and politicans alike love to scream “is this what we pay our licence money for????”
