Odyssey 04
To be honest I think the food in Greece tasted so good because I was both coming to it from a poor student’s perspective, and an I’ve-been-eating-only-UK-food-for-a-year perspective. Not that I don’t like UK food or anything, it’s just that if I had to choose one ethnic food out of every ethnic food in the entire world to give up, I’d choose UK. Even the two times I’ve ever tasted random African dishes is more memorable than a year of British eating. Though I guess I would miss Ploughman’s sandwiches, those are pretty yum.
Greg’s aunt, who we stayed with in Athens for a couple of days, was a true Mediterranean relative and stuffed us with all that we could eat and more. So delish!

But what do they say?

I figured it best to leave it untranslated, because that’s what it felt to be there with greg’s talkative aunt
Also I am surprised I had several fonts that had greek equivalents!

Heaven is where:
The police are British
The mechanics are German
The cooks are French
The lovers are Italian
The teenagers are Japanese
The movie makers are American
The musicians are Russian
The women are Swedish
And the whole thing is organized by the Swiss;

loooove mediteranean food – fillo dough spinach and feta pies, black olives, bakava, mousaka, stuffed grape leaves. Yum!
