All these major situations have been happening to me lately, but I still laugh every time hear about the situation…

Recent changes in my apartment living situation aside, why not give this a try?

Yes, there comes a time in all young people’s lives – that time some time out of college when you hit the summer of endless wedding invitations. I was doing a healthy one wedding a year for a bit, and now I’ve hit up four weddings in a row, two of which require some amount of travel! Sometimes it just hits the wallet right hard!

But I digress, I love pretty much all of my wedding peps, and It’s definitely a lot of fun to see all the people that shape a bride or groom’s life along the way. It’s wonderful to see where you’ll be going too!

And on that note, congratulations to my friends Nancy and Seth who are getting married in Nashville, TN this weekend! I’ll be there to toast to your new life together (and drink all your bourbons)!

Why do boys tend to frequent those spots we like least about ourselves? My personal pet peeve is my arms and Mike seems to take every opportunity to “comfortingly” squeeze the flubbies. Why!? I’m not saying I’m fat and I’m not complaining about my size and weight…. It’s just that most girls have a spot about themselves they’re unconfident about and boys tend to go right for them!

And so ended my week of drinking creamer instead of milk in all my cereal bowls. We were raised on skim milk and let me tell you that creamer was like fat overload to my young mind. I suppose it is a good thing I learned what it really was within a week, otherwise I might be a tub of creamy lard as an adult.

To all my creamer-drinking friends out there, you are not alone. And it’s totally not gross to drink pure creamer. Unless you drink more than like… 4 mini cups of it at a time…

BTW – People from outside of New Jersey may not recgonize our iconic Wawa stores (they’re like 7-11s, except they’re awesome).

A story of a boy and the mustache he always wanted. Haha. Mike told me this story about when he was a kid and I actually visualized it in Glass Urchin comic form. How could I not??? Hint to all the children reading out there (…. are there any…?): don’t shave your face with a razor when you’re ten. Nothing good will come of it!

YAY for being drunk. I need a drink right about now.

I know there’s been a bit of arguing and fighting going on but I’d like to point out that I’m thankful on this holiday for the times good and bad and everything that’s yet to come in my relationships, love and otherwise.

And, like last year, I will be working all week and weekend and all next week too, due to Toy Fair. Yay working in the Toy Industry. So for those of you who don’t make toys, have a fun and happy Valentine’s Day. For those who do, see ya at Toy Fair…. Yay.

This is why it’s really really hard to argue with Mike.

Other things Mike and I don’t have in common:
Mike likes puppies dressed as kitties, I like kitties dressed as puppies.
Mike eats one giant meal a day, I eat a hundred small ones.
Mike doesn’t like 90% of vegetables, I’m a vegetarian.
Mike plays 8-bit games, I play 32-bit games.
Mike’s favorite books are by Dostoyevsky and Tolstoy, mine are by Jeff Smith and Craig Thompson.
Mike grew up on Nintendo, I grew up on Sega.
Mike likes lager, I like pale ale.
Mike claims he does not have a Minnesota accent, I claim I do not have a Jersey accent.

Check out all them differences! But in the end we both like Grover, both drink Maker’s Mark, and both enjoy dressing in pantyhose. So remember folks, it’s the things we have in common that we should cherish.
